Assessment Phase

Quickly determines certification potential

The Assessment Report identifies appropriate environmental goals and performance criteria for each project, and outlines the potential to meet the requirements for LEED certification. The report will identify the strengths of the design and planning strategies and potential hurdles to certification. It will document the project’s environmental performance as measured by the LEED™ Rating System and incorporates a reporting method that begins to link the environmental, social, and economic benefits of the current design strategies into an overall environmentally friendly approach. The report is intended to help the design team and the client make informed decisions about improving overall environmental performance, and provides guidance on how to establish the appropriate benchmarks for measuring that performance.
